Too funny on too many levels!!
(yes, I considered using “to”, for humour)

What strikes me is that the most difficult to spell word on that sign was actually the one spelled correctly.

Too Funny. Amy K, btw, is like my secret long lost Korean sister from Livonia, MI. Small.Fracking.World.

We need a rating system like WP-PostRatings! I am just itching to give a rating! It would also be cool to just take a quick look at the “top 10″.
Awesome Site! I will be back.
PS. – I see your comment box has a spell checker built in! LOL

Zachary,
Added the plugin! Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll let it accumulate ratings for a while before I start promoting the most popular wordsplosions.
And the comment box spellchecker is just your browser, not anything we’ve done here. Someone should do a study and see if spelling on the Internet improves now that browsers are including that feature!
Noadi,
What do you mean? I thought it was spelled “P-A-S-T-A.”

I think that the dinner thing was intentional. It’s just a backwards e, put there for cuteness sake. Course, that doesn’t explain “benifit”, which ruins the effect.

I’m afraid to post here, for fear that people will tear apart my posts:(. There’s no edit button, alright!

gopher65,
Yeah, that’s certainly a possibility.
And don’t worry about comments — I don’t hold comments to as high a standard as things like granite tombstones!

gopher, i for one would never tear apart anyone’s post on this site. having found this site, i believe i have died and gone to heaven. i think you are all brilliant observers. this spot suits me down to the ground. i’m that girl (and at my age i use that term loosely) who does crossword puzzles in 15 minutes in ink. (and yes, we all know, one should avoid speaking (or typing) parenthetically.)

I grew up in the south (U.S.) my favorite was always driving past the local produce stands that had hand lettered (scrawled?) signs proclaiming, “Boild P-nut” …hey, whatever works…

SMALL WORLD
Mark, my dad just told me that this picture was taken at my hometown church in Calumet, MI! Apparently, the little girl WAS 7 and did have cancer. But, fortunately for you, she didn’t make the sign.

Oh, I did laugh at this one quite a lot. Can we also talk about some serious capitalization issues going on in this picture. She starts off well enough but then seems to forget the pattern she established early on about halfway through.

Now I am all nervous about posting on a grammar-conscious website. Can you change that period to a question mark for me?
