Do Not Walk

with 3 comments

User participation time! What sort of “unit” (which could really be anything) can you walk on to prevent some sort of damage?

My answer: John Mayer.

  1. It could also be taken, “Do not walk on this unit _with the intention of_ preventing damage.” Walk on it for fun. Walk on it to mess it up. Walk on it for knee replacement rehab. But whatever you do, don’t walk on it to prevent damage. It’s all about motive!

  2. And none of this has anything to do with the graphic, which appears to mean “nobody with snapped femurs allowed.”

  3. Dammit, my head almost went asplodey (sic) trying to decipher the original meaning of this sign. Tye’s take is close to what I assumed after my first glance at it.

However, methinks this may be closer to the _intended_ message:
“To prevent damage, do not walk on unit; else, your femurs will get snapped.”
