eN’vision

I’m eN’visioning a community college dropout. Odds of witnessing a drug deal during a haircut: moderate to severe.

I don’t necessarily think all business names should be “grammatically correct”. I think this is a quite creative name.
One of the not-as-humorous ones, in my opinion.

How is this clever? What subtle meaning lies behind this particular spelling? In particular, why bother with the original “e” when that sound is naturally included in the letter “N”?
For my part, I think this definitely belongs on this site. It’s the perfect example of someone TRYING to be smart and failing miserably.

I agree with you. I don’t think business names have to be grammatically correct, but it doesn’t make it any less funny to me when they’re not. Obviously no one is sending in the Toys R Us sign or anything like that, but it’s still amusing to consider the reason behind the spelling and punctuation in this sign.

Well, for what it’s worth, I think the effect would be better presented without that apostrophe. The “eN” part itself, though, seems fine for a business name.

I don’t like you associating drug deals and bad grammar.
That’s just not fair on the Drug Dealers

Bad grammar must be associated with drug deals? I have one thing to say. “Is our children learning?”

I should open an eye doctor place next door called “iN’vision!” Exclamation point and all.

That’s just being picky, fellahs. They just wanted the emphasis on the N and probably added the ‘ for style..

Double points for forgetting to take out that extra “a” in your caption:
“Odds of a witnessing a drug deal”

Lillian, I’m fairly sure that W. is, in fact, a drug dealer. I, therefore, consider your “Presidents don’t use proper grammer but that doesn’t make them drug dealers” theory…crap. Good day to you, sir!

Yeah, typos on this site sting about 4 times as much as on any other.

I agree with the capitalization issue. You’re never going to have a successful company if you switch around capitals and lowercase letters like that. It’s not that difficult or expensive to avoid problems like that…I’m sure you can find used grammar guides on eBay.
