I agree with the capitalization issue. You’re never going to have a successful company if you switch around capitals and lowercase letters like that. It’s not that difficult or expensive to avoid problems like that…I’m sure you can find used grammar guides on eBay.

Well, for what it’s worth, I think the effect would be better presented without that apostrophe. The “eN” part itself, though, seems fine for a business name.

I agree with you. I don’t think business names have to be grammatically correct, but it doesn’t make it any less funny to me when they’re not. Obviously no one is sending in the Toys R Us sign or anything like that, but it’s still amusing to consider the reason behind the spelling and punctuation in this sign.

How is this clever? What subtle meaning lies behind this particular spelling? In particular, why bother with the original “e” when that sound is naturally included in the letter “N”?

For my part, I think this definitely belongs on this site. It’s the perfect example of someone TRYING to be smart and failing miserably.

I don’t necessarily think all business names should be “grammatically correct”. I think this is a quite creative name.

One of the not-as-humorous ones, in my opinion.
