“KM” should be “km”. First thing I noted. Symbols for units are written in lower case, except for symbols derived from the name of a person. Like K for kelvin. And the prefix for kilo is a lower case “k” (compare: “M” is for mega, while “m” is for “milli”).
“2.5mi”? Without a space? I’ll never get used to those weird imperial units.

I think my math teacher referred to this as the cross-my-heart bra method:
4 km/2.5 mi = 10 km/x mi
10 * 2.5 = 25
25 / 4 = 6.25
So 10 km = 6.25 mi.
I did it in my head and everything. Yeah algebra!
