It could be argued that only the apostrophe in “need’s” could be removed and it would be correct. The five bulleted items could then be considered shorthand for “kitchen’s needs, door’s needs” etc. Not a very convincing argument, but it could be made.

I believe it was Dave Barry that ‘said the apo’strophe is a warning to the reader that an “‘s” i’s coming up. Whoever created thi’s ma’sterpiece apparently doe’sn’t want to ‘scare anyone with a ‘surpri’se “‘s”, ‘so he/’she warn’s u’s about every one. Ju’st in ca’se he/’she i’s reading thi’s, I have provided the ‘same courte’sy.
