  4. Language is always changing, dialects with different word use and spelling creep in. To see how much has changed in a relatively short time, try reading Shakespeare. Language can be mauled gratuitously, as in the wrongful position of the apostrophe. In this case I am just not sure. This might be some local usage that is accepted within the community. Or it might be a nut.

  6. the funny is that word “croos” sounds like the portuguese word for “cross” (cruz).
