…and anyone who writes in to say that it is written that way because we’re meant to read it one letter at a time as we drive over it is…full of krap.

There have been many times during long trips when I’ve driven around and around looking for a sign with that information on it.

“Krap” is from the German dialect spoken in Niederpinkelbach and is pronounced “crop” and means “this way to the WC.”
