“Where do you think native Americans live?”

Originally, they lived throughout much of North America, Central America, and South America.

Calling citizens of the U.S.A. “Americans” is a helpful shorthand, but it is akin to calling the Chinese “Asians.” Technically, it is a non-exclusive category.

And thus, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese are officially spoken throughout the Americas.

Not sure I get the “United States” comment above. This country can certainly be called America. We say American president. We say “buy American”. Where do you think native Americans live?

Still, this is my favorite of all the images posted on Wordsplosion, and I predict it will remain in that spot for a long time to come.
