Wait, I don’t see the problem with this! »« Ah, I get it now!
- “STORE WIDE” should be “STOREWIDE”
- “VALID CUSTOMER” should be “VALUED CUSTOMER”
- There should probably be a comma after “MEETING”
- “UNITL” should be “UNTIL”
I guess it’s better than being an invalid customer…

Perhaps invalid customers are the ones who stand around watching the TVs or who pay with $3 bills.

This sign could have used more logical line breaks, as well. If it were me, I’d spend the extra few seconds getting Circuit City together on the same line.
I think storewide is one word rather than two. And, of course, unitl is a typo.
Presumably the typist has gone on to bigger, but not better, signs since 2005. Poor, poor Somerville…

UNTIL is spelled as UNITL…

Good catch, Ivy. Added.

“Due to” is wrong. It should be “Because of.” “Due to” is adjectival and describes what; “because of” is adverbial and describes why. As in “Why isn’t the store opening until 1 p.m.?” “Oh, because of the storewide meeting.”

Let’s also not forget the comma needed after Sunday.
