I stared at this posting for far longer than the rest (leaving no room for a click upon the answer), as I was overlooking the fact that it didn’t exhibit any misspellings. I blame the lack of recent ’splosions [sic].

I laughed immediately upon seeing it this past January and I had to photograph it.
Maybe they wanted to compete with today’s sexier attractions in nearby Las Vegas?

Probably. an overlook is usually a scenic “overlook” to see something from above. A lookout is a spot where you post someone to keep an eye on things.
Of course that’s all from my own personal opinions from here in USA, your own colloquial definitions may differ. Some restrictions may apply. Offer void in Ohio and Puerto Rico.
