Oh come on… you should filter this kind of entries; it’s very clear that the letter “r” has fallen off; you can tell that from the centering of the text amd the horizontal lines, which have also lost some pieces.

This one isn’t a mistake, people pull pranks like this by scratching the letters off, I see it all the time.

Looks like someone’s pretty adept at scratching things off glass, as there appear to be no marks left behind, and if the “r” had fallen off, wouldn’t the underline beneath it have fallen off at the same point? Instead, it’s even shorter — it doesn’t even run under the remaining “o.” And there are no jagged edges on the line.
Seems to me a sign maker went home early or ran out of material that day.
Also, “Smoke Free” should be hyphenated.
