Steinway missing an E, that too on a very formal thingie. Seems to justify starting this site, alright. Although with Photoshop around, submitters might get tempted then legal suits could follow.

If my experience is any indication, you don’t need Photoshop to find dozens of these things in a stroll through the mall.

Well, at least adding a letter to the end it still possible. It could be worse, they could have missed the first “C”.

Surprisingly, this was found in Amsterdam, where standards of English are much higher than in most of the native Anglosphere.

This sort of thing is not nearly as entertaining to me as eggcorns, misplaced apostrophes, etc. I’d like to see more grammar mistakes and less missing letters, personally.

Coming from a world of publishing… I have to wonder if they didn’t budget for the final ‘e’
You know those editors, they love to cut out the extraneous… whether it makes sense, or not!
